Hi, I am originally from the east coast and have recently moved to the Vancouver area. I am also an avid swimmer. I have been swimming regularly three times a week for at least the last forty years.

I have learned about your yearly swim across the lake and I am very interested in participating if I am allowed. Can I register from Coquitlam, can I get my package sent to me and how much does it cost. Is there parking available and how much? Is there a shuttle of some kind from one shore to the other either before or after the swim.

That and any info you can send me would be greatly appreciated. Your response is anxiously awaited.

Hi Pierre, welcome to the West Coast! You can register for the 2020 swim here: http://bit.ly/ATLSKelowna2020
Packages can be picked up on Thursday, July 16th and Friday, July 17th from 3-7pm. More information on that here: https://acrossthelakeswim.com/race-information/
Included in your registration is transportation from the Finish Line area in City Park to the Start Line in West Kelowna. Limited parking is available in City Park if you get there early enough. There’s lots of parking nearby on the street or in the Chapman Parkade on Lawrence Ave which is just a few blocks away. All parking is free. If you purchase a VIP package add-on it includes a reserved parking spot right near the Finish Line so you can avoid the parking chaos!

Great swim! In a few weeks Okanagan Lake should be around the same temp, if not slightly warmer.
