Are the swim caps made of latex? I am allergic to latex!

Yes, the swim caps are made of latex. If you are allergic to latex, just let us know and we will provide you with a silicone swim cap.

Can I register the morning of the swim?

No, there is no same day registration. You can register until the Friday before the swim, assuming it has not sold out.

I can’t swim because I’m injured or another medical reason. What can I do?

There are no registration refunds, but if you are not able to participate in the swim because of an injury and/or other medical reason, you can transfer your registration to another swimmer, or if you purchased insurance, you can contact Race Roster to make a claim. My credit card doesn’t work!

If you have tried to register and your credit card doesn’t seem to work, please contact us and we’ll try to help.

What are the Age Groups?

These are the age groups:

I made a mistake on my registration. How can I get it fixed?

You can edit your registration online by going to and logging in. Once logged in, go to My Events and choose the swim.

If that doesn’t work, just send an email to and we’ll get it fixed up for you.

What is included in my registration fee?

Your registration fee includes:

Custom event swim cap
A custom swim bag
An award winning towel
Souvenir swim cap

Transportation to the start line
Finish line food
Helping send 3rd graders for free swimming lessons

Can I transfer my swim registration to another participant?

Transfers may be processed up until two weeks prior to the event. Here’s how to transfer your registration:

You can transfer your registration in your account

Log-in to If you don’t have an account, select “sign-up” and use the same email as listed on your registration
Wait for your event tabs to load and find the event registration you need
Click “Manage Event”
Click “Manage Registration”
Click “Transfer Registration” and enter in the new participant’s email.
They will receive an email invitation to accept your spot. Upon accepting the registration, they will be charged a $20 transfer fee to accept the registration. Any additional exchange of monies, if you’ve chosen to sell your registration, must occur between the you the the transferee outside of the system. You’ll receive notification as well as a confirmation when they’ve finished.


Transferring your registration transfers your spot in the swim AND your event package. To put it simply, if you transfer your registration you will not be able to pick up your event package.
It is advisable to not give out your registration details, especially your Confirmation ID.
We do not get involved in the transfer of registration fees between parties. Exchange of money (if any) is handled by the person transferring the registration and the person the registration is transferring to.

How do I cancel my entry?

We do not offer refunds, however, you are able to cancel your registration up to 10 days prior to the event and receive a discount code for 50% off your next year’s entry.

Discount codes will be valid for 12 months after the event date and can ONLY be used for the event you signed up for.

To cancel your account please email our Registrar.

I did not receive or I lost my registration confirmation email. Can I get it resent?

You can login to your account to see which events you have registered for and re-send your confirmation email.

If you don’t have any luck, contact our Registrar and we can look up your registration and re-send the email to you.

How do I know if I am registered?

You can login to and see the events you have registered for.

Or, contact us and we’d be happy to confirm your registration.

Can I rollover my registration to next year?

Sorry, we do not offer registration rollovers to next year’s event.

What is the minimum age requirement to do the swim?

There is no minimum age requirement, however each junior swimmer (10 years & under) MUST be accompanied by a support person f they are swimming alone and not accompanied by an adult swimmer. Support kayaks or stand up paddle boards, however, are recommended for all swimmers.

Can I get a refund?

Sorry, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.
