Recently, we were recognized for our support of the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. The Across the Lake Swim Society (ATLSS) has committed to donate $25,000 over three years to sponsor a Learn to Swim program which enables 1,700 Grade 3 students to attend free swimming lessons at the H2O Centre in Kelowna. Students from Peachland to Vernon are bused to the pool and given three weeks of lessons which includes 45 minute instruction and 45 minute free time to play.
