Volunteers are what make great events possible.
If you would like to spend the morning at the beach, support the local community and/or you have time either on event day or in the days or months before the swims to help, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Jane Fletcher, our Volunteer Coordinator by email, at volunteer@acrossthelakeswim.com, and let us know your interests. We will work with your schedule and your skills to find a rewarding and fun position for you!

Calling all boaters!
We need many power boats to carry lifeguards during the swim. If you’d like to be a part of this incredible event, would love to be on the lake early in the morning and have some time to spare on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, we would love to hear from you (the event is over by 11am).
We are looking for boats:
- 16-24 ft in length capacity to hold 4 passengers
- Highly maneuverable
- Can get to high speed quickly
- Ladder and swim platform for easy extraction
- Flat unobstructed area to perform first aid
- Experienced licensed Captain
We will give you gas money, snacks, and our famous, award-winning towels.
