Support

Can my support person use a stand up paddleboard (SUP)?

Absolutely! We actually prefer SUP’s over kayaks and canoes. SUP’s have a higher viewpoint, are better in choppy conditions, are not so tippy and can easily be hung onto by a swimmer.

The SUP must adhere to Transport Canada regulations and carry an extra lifejacket for the swimmer. Please refer to the Transport Canada website for more information on stand up paddleboards.
