Policies

By participating in our events, you authorize Across the Lake Swim staff and volunteers to make decisions regarding your medical care in the event of an emergency. Where necessary, they may authorize treatment on your behalf.

Event staff and volunteers will make every reasonable effort to contact your designated emergency contact if a situation arises. If your contact cannot be reached, you give permission for a licensed physician, dentist, athletic therapist, nurse, or other qualified medical professional to provide the care required.

You confirm that you understand and are capable of communicating your own health care directives, and that you are fully informed of the contents and implications of this authorization.
