Sorry, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

We understand that sometimes plans change, injuries happen, or unexpected situations arise. We genuinely wish everyone who registers is able to join us on event day.

Our events require significant planning and financial commitments months before swimmers enter the water. Once a registration is received, we immediately begin investing those funds into preparing the event. This includes permits, insurance, timing services, safety personnel, medical services, equipment, transportation, swim caps, medals, food, insurance, staffing, and many other expenses that must be secured well in advance.

Many of these costs are fixed and cannot be recovered if a participant is no longer able to attend. Offering refunds would increase the overall cost of running our events and ultimately lead to higher registration fees for everyone.

Our no-refund policy allows us to:

  • Keep registration fees as affordable as possible.
  • Commit to the extensive safety resources required for every event.
  • Plan confidently for staffing, equipment, transportation, and participant services.
  • Treat every participant fairly by applying the same policy consistently.

We encourage participants to consider purchasing registration insurance when it is offered during registration. This optional coverage may provide reimbursement in certain circumstances where our event policy cannot.

Our goal is to create safe, well-organized, and memorable swimming experiences, and a consistent no-refund policy helps make that possible.
