Joining our SwimSquad Ambassador Team is all about having a fun-loving spirit, a passion for swimming, and a genuine love for supporting others. Being an Across the Lake SwimSquad Ambassador means you’re part of a team that celebrates camaraderie, adventure, and the sheer thrill of open water swimming!
We’re not just looking for accomplished athletes; we’re searching for individuals who are passionate about inspiring others to embrace the sport and make a difference in their communities.
Our SwimSquad is a vibrant crew of spirited, go-getting individuals who love creating waves of excitement in their communities. If you thrive on diving into new experiences, boosting morale among fellow swimmers, and sharing the exhilaration of open water swimming with everyone you meet, then you’re just the swimmer we’re looking for!
Being a SwimSquad member is all fun and games, but it comes with a splash of responsibility.
Here are a few key responsibilities that make your involvement truly valuable:
- Share your love of our swims and successes on social media
- Take photos or videos that feature Across the Lake Swim events and your training
- Tag Across the Lake Swim in all applicable posts
- Actively engage with our content on social media
- Follow and engage with fellow Ambassadors
- Have your social media profiles publicly visible
- Commit to the SwimSquad Ambassador responsibilities for the swim season
- Attend Ambassador video group meetings
- Volunteer for a minimum of one swim event
