Another New Swim!
New Swim Announcement!
We are excited to announce our newest swim in Cultus Lake on September 8th. Just a short 100km from Vancouver, Cultus Lake is a perfect location for an open water swim. Choose from a 750m, 1.5km or 3km distance.
New Shorter Distances!
We are thrilled to announce that we have added two new swim distances for Kelowna and Skaha Lake. These are shorter distances for those not quite ready to take on the longer swims, but still want to challenge themselves to swim across Okanagan Lake (Kelowna) or Skaha Lake (Penticton).
For Kelowna, we are introducing a new 1.4km distance across Okanagan Lake. The start is in West Kelowna and finishes at Hot Sands Beach in City Park. The shorter Skaha Lake swim starts in Kaleden and ends in OK Falls, just like the longer 11.8km swim.
Registration for both swims are open for 2024. Register for Kelowna here or Shaka Lake here.
2023 Gellatly Bay Swim Cancelled
Due to the ongoing wildfires in the Okanagan region and the provincial state of emergency, which includes a travel restriction for non-essential purposes, we are sorry to announce the cancellation of the 2023 Across the Lake Swim Gellatly Bay on Sept 2nd, 2023. Registered participants will be receiving an email with addtional information.
