Rattlesnake Island Swim Still Scheduled as Planned

An update regarding the forest fire situation in the area.

At this time, the swim is still scheduled to go ahead as planned on Saturday. Fire crews have made great progress and appear to have the situation well under control. Additionally, the highway remains open, some evacuation orders have been lifted or upgraded to alerts, and no new concerns have been raised by local authorities.
