New Shorter Distances!

We are thrilled to announce that we have added two new swim distances for Kelowna and Skaha Lake. These are shorter distances for those not quite ready to take on the longer swims, but still want to challenge themselves to swim across Okanagan Lake (Kelowna) or Skaha Lake (Penticton).

For Kelowna, we are introducing a new 1.4km distance across Okanagan Lake. The start is in West Kelowna and finishes at Hot Sands Beach in City Park. The shorter Skaha Lake swim starts in Kaleden and ends in OK Falls, just like the longer 11.8km swim.

Registration for both swims are open for 2024. Register for Kelowna here or Shaka Lake here.

Do swimmers in the 4.5km Skaha Lake swim need to have a support boat with them as they do in the full distance Skaha Lake swim?

Hi Greg, support paddlers are not required for the 4.5km.
